The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov awarded the chief technologist of the Moscow plant "Thermopol" Elena Mezentseva for the great contribution made to the development of textile and light industry.

Elena Mezentseva – one of the co-developers of innovative nonwovens «Holofiber». Together with her colleagues, she stood at the origins of highly effective thermal insulation domestic products, which today is recognized not only by the Russian, but also by the international standard, used in all climatic zones of the Russian Federation. Import-substituting developments "Thermopol", which have been supervised by Elena Mezentseva for more than 10 years, are now used in all industries of the country. In the dissertation research by Elena Mezentseva, which is conducted at the Kosygin Russian State University, the key issues of increasing the thermal insulation of insulated clothing are raised.Some of the conclusions of the expert, who is already recognized today as one of the most important European experts on nonwovens, can be found, for example, in the publication «Problems of insulation selection».
