Interregional public organization  Association of High Fashion and pret-a-port founded in 1994. For 22 years, the Association has been developing the Moscow Fashion Week project (since 2013Moscow Fashion Week. Made in Russia), whose main task is to develop the domestic fashion industry, provide comprehensive assistance to Russian designers, promote Russian manufacturers of light and textile products to the retail markets of the Russian Federation, form a stable positive concept of Russian design", popularization of Russian brands of light and textile industry in Russia and abroad. Fashion Week in Moscow is held 2 times a year in March and October, and completes the world schedule of Fashion Weeks. The total number of guests of Fashion Week is more than 100 00 people per season.

During the Week, collections of Russian designers were presented on the same podium with famous foreign fashion houses.Slava Zaitsev, Valentin Yudashkin, Irina Krutikova. Every   season of the Week  the opening of  new Russian designers  Igor Chapurin, Victoria Andreyanova,Tatiana Parfenova,Yulia Bunakova and Evgeny Khokhlov,Luda Dobrokhotova, Natasha Drigant, Sergey Efremov, Andrey Sharov, Daria Razumikhina and many others..

In 2018, a mutual decision was made to combine the efforts of two leading industry associations in holding "strong" Fashion Week in Moscow. Made in Russia» and «Russian Textile and Light Industry Week -2018».

Events with a combined business program will be held simultaneously at two venues of the Gostiny Dvor and the Expocentre from March 19 to March 25 and will include It includes a series of shows by famous Russian and foreign designers, business meetings, conferences and exhibitions.
