The development of the light industry was discussed at the Golden Ring Forum

A plenary session of the XII International Industrial and Economic Forum "Golden Ring" was held in the city of Ples, Ivanovo region, during which new vectors of development of the region and the domestic textile industry were discussed.

 

The welcome address to the participants of the forum, sent by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, was read out by the governor of the region, Pavel Konkov."Dynamically developing, the forum has rightfully earned the status of a representative platform where innovative technologies and promising projects are demonstrated, effective joint proposals of government representatives, experts and the business community are developed for the development of the Russian economy," the greeting says.

 

 

The participants of the IPEF were also welcomed by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Central Federal District, Alexander Beglov.

 

The Ivanovo Region strives to be at the forefront of real steps to create a market of fundamentally new materials, technologies and products capable of making the light industry and the fashion industry competitive on a global scale, Pavel Konkov emphasized. "Today there is an understanding of concrete steps that will allow building a digital economy, in particular in the textile industry. There is a huge distance to go, and the speed of passage should be extremely high.

 

Pavel Konkov said that during a working meeting with the head of the interdepartmental working group at the Presidium of the Presidential Council for Economic Modernization and Innovative Development, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Andrey Belousov, which took place the day before, an agreement was reached to include the developments of the Foresight Camp in the roadmap of the FashionNet market being created within the framework of National Technology Initiative.
