On October 11–12, the International Scientific and Technical Forum Kosygin Russian State Universityhttp://www.kosyginreadings.ru /">«The first international Kosygin Readings».

Scientists and practitioners will look for answers to questions of economic development, creation of effective technologies and equipment, new innovative materials in various sectors of the national economy.

The focus of such a large-scale event is on topical issues of import substitution, labor productivity improvement, energy and resource conservation, environmental and industrial safety, and the quality of manufactured products.

The forum is dedicated to a major statesman Alexey Nikolaevich Kosygin, who developed the most successful and effective program of economic reforms in the USSR, which led, among other things, to an increase in national income by 186% ("golden five-year plan" 1966-1970s).

The forum will host the International Scientific and Technical Symposium "Modern Engineering problems of basic industries", the International Scientific and Technical Symposium "Modern engineering problems of the consumer goods industry", VIInternational Scientific and Technical Symposium «Modern Energy-saving Technologies SETT – 2017», International Symposium «Economic mechanisms and Management technologies of Industrial development».

There will be an exhibition dedicated to Alexey Nikolaevich Kosygin. Within the framework of the Forum on October 12–on October 14, the University will host the qualifying championship of young professionals of Kosygin Russian State University according to the standards of Worldskills Russia in the direction of "Fashion technology".

Based on the results of the events, it is planned to outline ways of developing individual branches of Russian industry and develop specific recommendations for strengthening the domestic industrial potential in the innovative dimension.
