Products from Uzbekistan will be distributed

On The first forum of interregional cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan signed an agreement on the establishment of a wholesale and distribution center of light industry products of the republic. This center will be located in Samara region. The agreement was signed by representatives of Samara Textile Company and the enterpriseUzbektextilprom, according to the press service of the government of the Samara region. 

 

 

The parties to the agreement are confident that the creation of a wholesale distribution center will expand the geography of sales of products of Uzbek light industry enterprises not only in the Volga region, but also throughout the Russian Federation. 

 

Today, according to the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment of the Samara region, the turnover of foreign trade between Uzbekistan and the Samara region amounts to more than $80 million. And this is only for the first 9 months of this year. The creation of a wholesale distribution center will significantly increase these figures. 

 

The first Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan with the participation of the heads of state was held in Tashkent from October 18 to 19 and was timed to coincide with the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Tashkent.
