On March 21, as part of the business program of the Russian Textile and Light Industry Week 2018, a panel discussion will be held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds on Krasnaya Presnya.;The digital future of light industry"with the participation of representatives of the All-Russian Popular Front.

The event will discuss the ways of the transition of light industry to new technologies, approaches to the formation of standards for the digitalization of light industry and the creation of technological competence centers in light industry.

Representatives of the light industry and fashion industry, as well as experts of the digital economy are invited to participate in the discussion.

As part of the panel discussion, it is proposed to discuss ways to implement the instructions of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev dated February 12, 2018, No. DM-P9-745, in particular:

1. Implementation of standards for digitization of materials, components and finished products;
2. Measures to increase the effectiveness of state support for private industrial technology parks, including in the field of light industry;
3. Formation of the regulatory legal framework – fundamentals of the activities of technoparks;
4. Creation of competence centers for training personnel for "factories of the future".

The working Group of the All-Russian Popular Front, together with experts and with the participation of federal executive authorities, intends to work out concrete steps for standardization in the introduction of digital production technologies and the creation of competence centers in the field of light industry.
