Experts discussed the digital future of the light industry
In «Expocenter» as part of the business program «Russian Textile and Light Industry Week– 2018» On March 21, a panel discussion «The digital future of light industry». It was organized by the working group of the All-Russian Popular Front and the Committee on Digital Technologies of Soyuzlegprom. Representatives of the industry and the fashion industry, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, experts on the digital economy who took part in the discussion considered ways of transition of light industry to new technologies, as well as approaches to the formation of standards for the digitalization of the industry.
According to Elena Dybova, Vice-President of the CCI of the Russian Federation, who spoke during the discussion, robotization in light industry is one of the most promising areas. Already today, according to her, there are global shifts in the change of professions to those that will be in demand on the market. Mostly creative people with creative skills will earn. In light industry, this is especially felt, because there are not enough designers, those who offer what everyone else does not do. Robotization will lead to withdrawal from the market of routine work, Elena Dybova believes ..
The Working Group ONF, together with experts and with the participation of federal executive authorities, intends to work out concrete steps to standardize digital production technologies and create competence centers in light industry.
The day before, the State Secretary of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation spoke on this topic in an interview with journalists at the "Legpromforum-2018" Viktor Yevtukhov. In particular, he noted that digitalization is actively coming to the industry. The production system and logistics system are now being computerized. Accordingly, many procedures are simplified. The middle link, where there is not enough human resources, is replaced by automation. Production processes are accelerated. Decisions are made faster. The design is created faster.
Now modern technologies make it possible to measure a person contactless, and to do it in relation to a large number of people. Customize products, adjust it to the physical parameters of a person, taking into account height, posture, figure features, etc. Create digital doubles. Our enterprises either create such technologies themselves, or attract them from abroad and localize them on the territory of the Russian Federation. One of the digital factories of the future in light industry will be created in Ivanovo in the near future, the deputy minister said.
