The Chamber of Commerce and Industry considers it necessary to maintain the annual volume of state support for light industry enterprises at the level of 3 billion rubles in 2018 and 2020. The relevant amendments to the second reading of the draft law on the federal budget for 2018 and for the planning period of 2019 and 2020 were sent to the State Duma, SOYUZLEGPROM reports.

"We have sent to the State Duma amendments to the draft federal law "On the federal budget for 2018 and for the planning period of 2019 and 2020", which imply the preservation of state support for light industry enterprises in the amount of 3 billion rubles annually".

According to the current draft budget, it is proposed to allocate 828.1 million rubles in 2016 and 812.2 million rubles in 2019 and 2020 for the development of the light and textile industry in 2018 and 2020. In his message, Sergey Katyrin noted that entrepreneurs working in light industry negatively perceive the planned sharp decline in support for this sector of the economy, provided for in the draft budget for 2018 and the planning period of 2019 2020.
