On September 26, 2018, the next strong XXI International Scientific and Practical Forum SMARTEX will be held at Ivanovo State Polytechnic University with the support of the Russian Union of Textile and Light Industry Entrepreneurs (Soyuzlegprom) and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). Representatives of Russian and foreign universities, academic institutes and industry associations will gather in Ivanovo for a direct exchange of professional information and joint identification of ways to overcome barriers and open new opportunities for the development of the domestic light industry with the heads of industry enterprises and authorities.

 

 
Within the framework of the forum, it is planned to hold a traditional scientific session and the II All-Russian seminar-meeting dedicated to discussing a wide range of problems, including issues of scientific, technological and personnel support of the industry.

 

In order to preserve and develop the Russian system of personnel training for the textile and light industry and attract talented young researchers to active scientific activity, this year within the framework of the MNPF "SMARTEX" on the initiative of the President of Soyuzlegprom A.V. Razbrodin for the first time will be held The All-Russian competition "LEGPROMNAUKA" and the blitz-intensive School of Young scientists.

 

Design and research works of young scientists and practitioners with an innovative component and representing scientific, technical or commercial interest for the textile and related industries are accepted for the competition. Students and postgraduates of universities and scientific organizations, college students, young specialists of industry enterprises under the age of 35 are invited to participate, individually or in collaboration with a supervisor.

 

 

The competition is held in three stages: the first, qualifying stage, registration of participants and acceptance of scientific papers from June 1 to September 17, 2018; the second stage, expert, correspondence evaluation of scientific papers and summing up the results of the competition until September 24, 2018; the third stage, final, in-person  presentation of the best scientific papers and awarding of the winners on September 26 28, 2018. The participants of the final stage will be the contestants, who, by the decision of the competition commission, will be given the opportunity to personally present their projects at the MNPF exhibition stand «SMARTEX» or make a brief report during the scientific session of the forum.

 

All participants of the competition will receive certificates of the MNPF participant «SMARTEX». The winners will receive Diplomas of I, II and III degrees, Soyuzlegprom awards, valuable prizes from the organizers and partners of the competition. The scientific supervisors of the winners of the competition will be awarded Letters of Thanks. The authors of up to 20 best scientific papers will receive recommendations to employers from practitioners and leading scientists from the competition committee of the competition, the Organizing and Program Committees of the MNPF «SMARTEX», as well as proposals for internships at leading industry enterprises and scientific organizations. 

 

 
A rich program and a wide representation of industry professionals will allow the forum participants to develop optimal solutions to the problems facing business and higher education, in accordance with the May Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin to adjust the strategic directions of their activities, strengthen and outline new ways of mutually beneficial cooperation.
