June 28, 2018 in The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation held a joint meeting Committee on Economic Integration and Foreign Economic Activity and Expert Council of the CCI of the Russian Federation on improving tax legislation and law enforcement practice on the topic: «VAT refund on export: problems and ways to solve them».

During the event, the participants discussed the difficulties encountered by industry representatives in passing the procedure for confirming the zero rate and VAT refund when exporting goods by participants of foreign economic activity, as well as the possibility of VAT refund when exporting IT products and IT services. The problems of taxation in the field of e-commerce were also touched upon. Special attention was paid to desk inspections and their impact on the development of exports, improving interaction between tax authorities, customs and exporters.

The event was attended by representatives of the Federal Tax Service, the Eurasian Economic Commission, experts, participants in foreign economic activity.

From SOYUZLEGPROm, the meeting was attended by Oksana Kurochkina, a member of the Committee on Customs Policy of SOYUZLEGPROm, a lawyer of the AK "LAW for BUSINESS".She focused the attention of the audience on the problems faced by textile and light industry enterprises when exporting their products, and also made suggestions regarding the need for regulatory authorities to return to the presumption of innocence of economic entities.
