Smart Fabrics

part 1part 2

Today, our questions are answered by Nikolay Bychenko, CEO of the Innovative company Yalos LLC.

- Do light industry manufacturers have any interest in your chemical indicators? After all, these developments can be used both in children's clothing and in overalls.

- The first serious interest was shown by manufacturers of workwear for workers and the military. There was an understanding that "smart textiles" should develop in Russia.

Here, for example, the company "Tchaikovsky Textiles" has a lot of problems with fakes of their fabrics from China. To protect their production, they ordered us to be labeled in ultraviolet. That is, the fabric can and should be labeled so that the counterfeit does not have any opportunity to take away your market. Now we are developing a domestic indicator for fabric by order of this textile company. This will be a non-standard chemical composition of the marking so that it cannot be easily recognized or forged. And we see the interest of many fabric manufacturers in this.
- What projects are you currently engaged in?
We received an order from the Russian-Swedish company SATILA, one of the world's leading manufacturers of winter hats. They asked us to develop caps with indicators and on the change in air temperature in winter.

Workwear with indicators of environmental change of the company Yalos
For the ordinary consumer (from -10 degrees to -20 degrees), for travelers and for workers (from 0 degrees to -20 degrees). Such an unusual thermometer will be sewn on knitted hats, indicating the temperature of the air.

In addition, we ourselves design T-shirts that change color depending on a person's body temperature. This is important if there is no thermometer at hand or the child is small. Many people know how difficult it is to measure the temperature of a newborn, and here there is a wonderful opportunity to monitor the baby's temperature increase with the help of clothes. The color of the T-shirt changes if a person has a fever above 37, which indicates a disease. This is a very important work to change the attitude to clothing, which becomes not only a fashionable attribute or protects you from rain or cold. Now clothes can become your assistant and warn you about illness or environmental hazards.
