Russian Light Industry Week-2019
From March 19 to 22, 2019, the Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow, will host the annual industry congress and exhibition event "Russian Textile and Light Industry Week", organized by Expocentre JSC; and the Russian Union of Textile and Light Industry Entrepreneurs (Soyuzlegprom) with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the CCI of the Russian Federation, Soyuzlegprom and the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. The partner of the event is Messe Frankfurt Rus.
«Russian Textile and Light Industry Week», held by the industry community for the 6th year in a row, according to experts, is the leading business and exhibition platform of the domestic light industry, as well as a meeting place for professionals, an exchange of views between representatives of the state and business on development of the industry, the center for the development of measures to ensure sustainable production and technological growth of the domestic light industry.
As part of the intense business and exhibition programs «Light Industry Week-2019», presented this year in 5 pavilions on an exhibition area of 15,000 sq.m, 3 leading specialized exhibitions will be held simultaneously :
- «Inlegmash» (Equipment for the light industry);
- Techtextil Russia(Fiber-based materials, raw materials, products);
- «Intertkan-2019. Spring" (Fabrics and textile materials, accessories).
In parallel, the exhibition «Shoes will be held. The world of skin». All events will take place at the Expocentre's exhibition grounds with the participation of representatives of leading Russian and foreign textile and light industry companies, politicians, public figures and journalists (1,200 exhibitors, 20,000 visitors).
The Business program of the "Light Industry Week" this year will involve 8 conference venues for 2,000 forum participants from 20 countries, where more than 200 world-class speakers, market professionals will speak. An important part of the business program "Russian Textile and Light Industry Week-2019" will be VI International Light Industry Forum "Legpromforum"2019: "Domestic light industry in modern economic conditions: challenges and prospects", in which current problems, challenges and prospects of the industry as a whole and its most dynamically developing segments will be discussed at the highest state level. Within the framework of the forum, a series of conferences, round tables, workshops and consultations will be held with the participation of representatives of the Federation Council, the State Duma, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the Federal Customs Service, the EEC, heads of regional executive authorities, leading industry enterprises, industry scientific, educational and public organizations, mass media.
«Russian Textile and Light Industry Week-2019» will be held simultaneously with «Fashion Week in Moscow. Made in Russia» (March 19– 24, 2019, Moscow, Gostiny Dvor) and will combine a rich business program and shows of leading Russian and foreign designers at the venues of the Expocentre and Gostiny Dvor. The culmination of the event will be the XVI Ceremony of awarding the National Industry Award "Golden Spindle-2018" on March 22 in a solemn atmosphere.
