Results of the Russian Design and Fashion Forum
On April 18-19, 2023, the Russian Design and Fashion Forum was held for the first time in Moscow on the site of The Carlton Hotel, Moscow.
The Forum has become an important platform for discussing global and local problems and opportunities of the industry and the formation of national policy in the field of design and light industry.
The eventful business program included discussions on current topics, presentations of new materials and technologies, fashion shows by Russian designers.
The issues of the sessions touched upon the state support of the design industry, the introduction of the latest technologies into production, the technological sovereignty of the country, communicative and service design, and many other topics that are important for the economy.
The forum was attended by more than 1000 participants, 120 speakers participated in the program. 23 sessions were held.

Materials from agricultural and synthetic raw materials, industrial equipment and achievements of modern science and technology are used in their manufacture. Thus, the development of the fashion industry and the growth of the clothing market are drivers for many other sectors of the economy. Roscongress has created a new communication platform for discussing pressing issues of the design and fashion industry, as well as developing important solutions for the industry," said Ekaterina Ivanova, Head of the Creative Projects Directorate of the Roscongress Foundation.
