BRICS against barriers to capital, goods and services

This year, the BRICS Business Council paid special attention to identifying and eliminating administrative and other barriers that stand in the way of the free movement of capital, goods and services between the five countries. This was stated in Shanghai at a meeting of the DS within the framework of the IX Summit of the BRICS with a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of China Han Zheng (China this year chairs the "five") President of the CCI of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian part of the DS,Sergey Katyrin.

"It was through the efforts of the Business Council that it was possible to solve the issue of removing visa barriers for entrepreneurs of our countries, to ensure their unhindered movement across state borders in order to conduct business."

Sergey Katyrin

The issues of information interaction and exchange of statistical data between the parties have been regulated, and this, which is very important for business, allows for continuous professional analytics in the field of economics, in particular, to identify obstacles hindering the development of business relations.

The head of the Russian part of the Business Council emphasized that all, without exception, the national parts of the DS agree on the need to increase the share of each of the five BRICS countries in mutual trade. By eliminating tariff and non-tariff restrictions, creating comfortable conditions for doing business, developing Internet commerce and other areas of activity, the BRICS countries will be able to accelerate the pace of sustainable development of their economies in a short time, I am convincedSergey Katyrin.
