Happy 100th anniversary The Torzhok Shoe Factory, the largest Russian company producing special shoes, was congratulated by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

Director of the Department for the Development of Domestic Trade, Light Industry and legalization of turnover of products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia Evgeny Ryzhov noted that, despite the age of a century, Torzhok Shoe Factory is an absolutely modern, fully modernized production capable of meeting the needs of personnel in almost all sectors of the economy of the Russian Federation, including strategic enterprises of the oil and gas, energy and chemical industries.

The solemn congratulation was attended by: member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Andrey Epishin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Tver Region Alexey Shitov, heads of administrations of Torzhok and Torzhok district, as well as the founder of the Vostok-Service Group of Companies Vladimir Golovnev.

The guests of the festive ceremony were shown the production workshops and the factory museum. All historical production facilities have been restored and reconstructed, powerful injection molding units, the latest cutting complex, a line for the production of respirators, lines of sewing semi-automatic machines, robotic equipment have been launched.

As part of the festive events, a "home exhibition" was held at the factory, during which invited representatives of contractor companies, specialized higher educational institutions, foreign partner companies had the opportunity to learn about the company's development priorities and prospects for the future.
