XVII Practical Business Forum "CJF - Children's Fashion"

From September 26 to 29, 2017, the Expocentre Fairgrounds hosted the exhibition CJF Children's Fashion 2017. Autumn", a major event of which was the "strong>XVII Practical Business Forum"CJF" Children's Fashion". The program of business and practical events was devoted to the development of the children's and teen fashion market and attracted great attention of visitors and participants of the exhibition.

 

CEO of the consulting company Fashion Advisors,Maria Gerasimenko, conducted a practical master class "How to open a successful store of goods for children". The seminars of Galina Kravchenko, Head of the department of "Assortment" of Fashion Consulting Group, were devoted to commercial trends in children's clothing of the spring–summer 2018 season and the assortment of the children's clothing store. At the seminar "Sales in a children's store: pricing, service, trade marketing", which was conducted by Natalia Chinenova, chief consultant of Fashion Consulting Group on business technologies in retail, the audience learned about why pricing should be tied to the target audience and how to ensure the right prices and optimal margins for their target audience.

 

 

Expert Center «Movement without danger» and JSC «Expocentre» with the support of The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation held a round table "Safety" is a new trend in clothing. The relevance of integrating reflective elements into the design and production of children's clothing". The event was opened by a children's fashion show from the participants of the exhibition CJF, in which models of children's clothing using reflective elements were presented.

 

As part of the business program, the general education project «Expo Academy» was also held. The organizers were JSC "Expocentre", trend bureau Trendsquire, VM Guru, Arno Business School andHigher School of Branding.

 

Industry experts attended the following events:

In The forum was attended by more than 300 people, including more than 150 suppliers of goods for children and adolescents, 106 buyers from specialized retail, FMCG networks, online stores of children's goods and publishers, as well as authoritative experts and representatives of specialized associations. The speakers were the heads of companies «Daughters-Sons», «Mamsy», NPD Group, Paper Planes, MMBA and others.

 

More than 50 networks took part in the Network Procurement Center for children's goods: "O"Kay", SELA, "Daughters-Sons", "Dixie", Ozon.ru , «Magnet», Mamsy, Familia and others. In total, over 2,600 negotiations on the supply of children's goods were held in the Purchasing Center.

 

For the first time, was organizedLicensors' Consulting Center, where suppliers discussed profitable options for cooperation within the framework of using the license for the sale of children's goods. And especially for the participants from the retail side to the "strong"Purchasing Center of KVK Networks, "Empire" organized a workshop for buyers.

 

For the first time, the forum "Russia – China: New Opportunities for Sustainable business development" was held as part of the business program of the exhibition. The forum discussed the issues of successful entry of Russian companies into a new sales market, finding their own manufacturer, reducing logistics costs and much more. The forum was hosted by the founder of the consulting company Between2countries,Leila Pavlova. The forum participants got acquainted with the mechanism of business management in the initial period of international cooperation; learned on the basis of which standard business indicators the owner will be able to make a decision to start international activities; how to conduct their own purchases of goods and work with Chinese manufacturers; how a novice entrepreneur can avoid typical mistakes when purchasing goods in China. The forum participants also received basic knowledge on the organization of the import of children's goods, the specifics of customs clearance, certification and logistics.
