Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Осень 2017
Autumn for professionals is the time when major seasonal exhibitions are held in different countries. There are especially many events taking place in the light industry segment. But even against the background of leading European events, the Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics exhibition impresses with its scale, at least in terms of the number of exhibitors and the space they occupy at the National Exhibition Center in Shanghai.
From October 11 to 13, 2017, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics united the leading manufacturers of the textile industry of the East and West, once again hospitably opening the doors to exhibitors and professionals from all over the world. These days, Shanghai has become a place where leading industry players have shown their collections for the upcoming autumn-winter season, as well as the most modern developments and novelties. Fashion experts and numerous textile manufacturers gathered at one site to determine the main trends in the development of the industry.
This season's exhibition was attended by 4,538 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions, who presented their expositions in 11 exhibition halls. At the same time, the total area of the fair increased by 6% compared to 2016.
The exhibition center in Shanghai looks like a flower with four two-story petals. However, despite the large exhibition area and its unusual design, it was very easy for visitors to navigate, thanks to a convenient navigation system. The stands of individual countries and regions were grouped by pavilions, and the floor plan of each hall allowed visitors to reduce the time to find the right manufacturer. Representatives of France, Germany, Italy (Milano Unica Shanghai) and Turkey were placed in blocks in the international pavilion of SalonEuropa.
Asia was represented by exhibitors from Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia. Chinese exhibitors were grouped by final products in eight exhibition halls.
The pavilions where Vision, All About Sustainability, and Beyond Denim accessories were presented, as well as a Functional Laboratory, Premium Wool zone and Verve for design, enjoyed great attention of visitors.
The Fringe business program included eight international and national forums dedicated to textile industry trends, seven panel discussions, 30 seminars, a digital printing forum and much more.
Reflecting the growth of production in the domestic market of China and in other regions of the world, the exposition of the Functional Laboratory section has grown by 33% this year, the Premium Wool zone by 18%. To meet the needs of the growing audience of the exhibition, an entire hall was added to the accessories exposition.
In parallel with Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, the Expo Autumn, the CHIC clothing fair and the PH Value fiber and yarn Fair were held in the same exhibition center.
Thanks to the presented range of products for clothing and accessories, more than 77,000 wholesale buyers from 100 countries and regions have chosen the Intertextile exhibition as the main event of the fashion industry this year, according to the annual survey of the event organizer.
WHERE FASHION AND INNOVATION CONVERGE
According to industry professionals, Intertextile Shanghai has become an important event over the years of its existence, as here you can get acquainted with the widest range of fabrics, clothing and accessories. Moreover, according to buyers, the quality of the presented products is very high. The exhibition has also established itself as a unique place for the presentation of innovations in the production of fabrics. In parallel with the Functional Laboratory, where the main innovative proposals of the fair are demonstrated, many novelties were also presented at the stands of companies, especially among exhibitors from the Asian region. In particular, Korea and Taiwan are distinguished by serious textile innovations. Their pavilions attracted a large number of visitors throughout the exhibition.
In addition to technological innovations, many innovative products and solutions for environmental protection could be seen at this season's exhibition. The zone "Everything about Sustainable Development" was dedicated to this topic. At almost every stand, they talked about the serious steps that factories are taking to protect nature from the harmful effects of production.
The exhibition has established itself as a global center for materials, fabrics and sewing accessories. Its diverse exposition serves as a real source of inspiration for leading fashion brands such as American Eagle Outfitters, Bestseller, C&A, Calvin Klein, E. Land, Earl, GVSSJEE, Joeone, L. L. Bean, Lily, Ports, PurCotton, Quiksilver, S.Oliver, Skechers, Trands and many others.
From season to season, the event develops and tries to help visitors find the maximum useful for business development.
Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn 2017 is organized jointly by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Textile Industry Subcommittee, CCPIT, and the Chinese Textile Information Center.
