Exhibition «Grand Textile» This is a declaration of love to the majestic and refined world of textiles.

«Grand Textile» will be held in Moscow from November 2 to 5 at the shopping center «Tishinka» on an area of 2,000 square meters. The organizer will be the company «Antares Expo». More than 250 participants have already registered. The expected number of visitors is over 6,000.

Exhibition sections:

• designer clothes and accessories,haute couture outfits in retro and vintage style;
• home textiles, tapestries, carpets, panels;
• textile dolls, toys and gifts;
• works of folk craftsmen, handmade lace, ethnic costumes, quilts;
• materials for needlework and creativity: sewing equipment, accessories, threads, fabrics, braid, ribbons,yarn, flap, embroidery kits, buttons;
• specialized books and magazines;
• master classes, contests, fashion shows.

On Sunday, November 5, at 12:00, an excursion will take place on the territory of the exhibition, and the authors and participants will talk about their works and creativity. During all the days of the exhibition, unique entertainment and educational events await visitors.

The project "Dress by the artist"

The creative duo of Alina Voroshilova and Alyona Pirozhok appeared in 2014 in Kiev.Artistic, design and engineering education allows them to work in parallel in several directions, such as creating an artistic author's doll, creating author's artistic accessories, as well as creating clothes.

Clothing is created from natural fabrics using antique lace, beads, sequins. Different techniques are used: application, patchwork, embroidery, knitting, painting. The painting of fabrics is made for each dress individually, the ink for writing on textiles is used, which allows you to use clothes, wash, iron, dry-clean.

"Velvet party"

On Saturday, November 4, at 17:00, visitors in velvet dresses, suits, shawls and hats will be expected at the "Velvet party». Elena Vasilyeva from the company Retrobarhat will talk about the history of velvet and modern fashion for it. We will offer all the guests a glass of champagne and spin in the rhythm of a waltz.

The dress code of the party is velvet in all its manifestations.

Festival «Kurochka Ryaba»

The festival of artistic textiles from St. Petersburg "Kurochka Ryaba"will show the works of masters from Germany: Pia Welsch, Gonhild Murman, Eva Werl, Gabi Fischer. On the occasion of the Year of Japan, replicas of Japanese kimonos will be presented in Russia.
