Thermopol offers to use innovations more intensively
On the example of the analysis of global high-tech trends and promising approaches to improving the thermal insulation properties of clothing, a representative of the company "Thermopol" Vladislav Ivanov concluded that the domestic manufacturer underestimates the modern approach to business development. As a result, most of the processes are routine and extensive. Innovations are used with a retrospective emphasis, and technologies are sometimes raised from the archive, which is why they are increasingly inferior to foreign ones in a number of positions.
Is it possible to call an innovative suit already worn, riding around exhibitions for several years? Is it news or old age? It has to do with the next steps, new technologies and innovations rather from the point of view of the retrospection shown more than once or twice, the archive of past implementations, but not fresh breakthrough technologies, this is not an innovation/ prom, it looks like a museum with dust on the shoulders of mannequins

The company «Thermopol » believes that today ways to increase the thermal insulation properties of clothing are considered through two main approaches:
- application of high-tech materials;
- introduction of innovative product designs.
The emergence of new materials and technologies in the late twentieth and early twentieth centuries changed the views on what thermal insulation clothing should be. These methods and approaches differ significantly from the previously widespread view of increasing the thermal insulation properties of clothing by increasing the weight and volume of the product package. In particular, Holofiber was included in products for the IV, special and "Arctic" climatic zones, although at the previous industrial stage it was considered that this was impossible. The same examples can be given with flame-resistant nonwovens Holofiber® TEK and even with materials with the 3rd index Holofiber® SOFT NG. This became possible thanks to the innovative approach of the developer and manufacturer.But today, new modified materials are being introduced and tested, which can expand the capabilities of domestic clothing manufacturers.
With the advent of effective technologies and materials, new opportunities for tailoring and designing clothes, a set of thermal insulation properties is formed based on three main concepts: «Universal», «Zoned» and «Polymodule». Thermal insulation materials Holofiber caused the appearance of new "packages" of clothing. For example, with membrane thermo- and moisture-wicking fabrics of the upper and lining fabrics, which help to maintain a certain range of temperature and humidity in the shrinking space between the environment and human skin.
The principle of biomimetics, or biomimicry, also finds its place in thermal insulation clothing. The phenomenon of adaptive isolation is becoming increasingly innovative. Global developers are introducing polymer coatings with shape memory based on polyurethane. Integrated thermal insulation clothing with active electric heating systems, with membrane and thread-free technologies, climate control of the underground space, 3D fabric design, breathable function (nano-, micropores), thermal insulation with external sensors of the body's condition (t 0 C and % humidity) and notification functions, which is especially important for children's clothing, is becoming widespread. and clothes for people with disabilities, with the functions of heat reflection, accumulation, and the like.
The intensification of innovations opens up new challenges for industry and science to create synthetic materials and types of effective clothing. The prospects are updated by state programs for the development of the Arctic, Antarctic and space. During the autumn exhibition season, the group of companies «Thermopol» will present new developments and research conducted by the company's specialists together with employees of Lomonosov Moscow State University and Kosygin Russian State University.
