The 31st season of CPM – Collection Premiere Moscow: figures, facts, results
About 21,500 specialists from different regions of Russia, the countries of the Customs Union and European states gathered for the autumn bayer session at the CPM–Collection Première Moscow. In total, a little more than 1,300 collections of clothing, underwear, shoes and accessories of the spring-summer 2019 season from 30 countries of the world were shown.
The exhibition was opened by a famous Russian fashion designer and the head of his own fashion house Valentin Yudashkin, Oberburg Mayor of DusseldorfThomas Geisel and other officials. A special feature of the season was the reconstruction of the linen and beach fashion pavilion CPM Body&Beach, where 160 brands from 21 countries were presented. Manufacturers from Western and Eastern Europe, Latin America and other regions have shown new collections of the medium and premium segment. Except showcase (ed.: podium presentations) collections of leading brands, among which were Bib-bib, Vitamin A, Prelude, Jolidon, in this segment a serious interested audience was gathered by the Business program of the section.
"The reputation and power of the CPM Moscow project still knows no boundaries. Many national delegations have done a lot of work, which has become a significant contribution to the success of the new season of the exhibition. We were also pleased with the strong support of the exhibitors from our colleagues from France, who managed to create a special atmosphere in the renovated pavilion. In addition, it is worth noting the wide popularity of the CPM Body&Beach segment, which received extremely positive reviews from both exhibitors and visitors of the exhibition.

For the third time, the collective stand of the special project CPM My Country, which is located in the Russian pavilion, was presented at the exhibition. The purpose of this project is to help regional young designer brands in the formation and development of business. Collections of the brands J.S.V. and SHAMAWOOD from Novosibirsk were presented at the stand. At the collective stand of the CPM Designerpool project, designers from St. Petersburg showed themselves in the Premium hall and on the main podium of the exhibition: Tatiana Kotegova (Tanya Kotegova brand), Janis Chamalidi (IANIS CHAMALIDI brand)and Victoria Afanasyeva (Vikki brand), as well as Maria Varlamova (Masha Varlamova brand)from Yekaterinburg. For the first time, collective stands of manufacturers of designer clothing and accessories from Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar and Ulyanovsk were presented, as well as the international project WorldSkills, where the training of participants of the EuroSkills 2018 European Championship took place.

Today, Russian retail is able to meet the market demand for local and foreign fashion brands. The attention of specialists at the exhibition was focused on the topics of increasing the VAT rate from 2019, the dynamics of the ruble exchange rate, as well as new standards for labeling goods. Many visitors were surprised by the move of the 21st Retail Forum Russian Fashion Retail Forum (RFRF) to the Russian pavilion, but it turned out that the change of location did not prevent all interested persons from getting acquainted with current market research and expert opinions of speakers, as well as attending a public lecture on trends The spring-summer 2019 season, from the world leader in forecasting, the London agency WGSN.

«It is already safe to say that the last exhibition has once again confirmed the status of the leading business platform of the fashion market of Eastern Europe. The number of participants and visitors CPM reflects the situation in the industry: we see a positive trend compared to the previous autumn season. The support of domestic companies by government agencies also has a good effect on the working atmosphere. I would like to mention the participants of the national collective stands from Kyrgyzstan and, for the first time, from Armenia, who have already announced their participation in the next season and an increase in the exposition.

The novelties of the spring-summer 2019 season attracted many Russian celebrities, whose visit was described in a separate publication on the platform. Among the memorable events was a private party with a show of CPM Body&Beach VIP Cocktail, dedicated to the relaunch of the underwear segment, as well as a special presentation of Colombian fashion brands of underwear and swimwear.
