Suitsupply intends to increase turnover
The Dutch men's clothing brand Suitsupply, known for the production of high-quality men's suits, after a slight decline in financial indicators in the previous two years, expects turnover growth this year.
Currently, the company's turnover is approaching 300 million euros. Last year, it amounted to 289.2 million euros, which is 20% more than the previous figure. This is primarily due to the fact that the company is striving for further overseas expansion and in 2018 demonstrated its ambitions by opening fourteen new stores, including in New York and Sydney. At the same time, the store that opened on Newbury Street in Boston became the hundredth division of the company in the world. This year in China should have eight new stores, plus the four stores that Suitsupply already has. Founder of the company Fokke de Jong (Fokke de Jong) reported that in 2019, turnover is expected to grow by 20%, which makes the businessman proud.
The company was founded in 2000, until 2007 the brand's stores operated only in the Netherlands, but gradually the brand increased in scale. Currently, monobrand stores are open in the world's largest megacities, including Milan, London, Amsterdam, New York, Toronto, Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong and finally Moscow. Suitsupply came to Russia in 2014. In addition to the growing number of stores around the world, the brand offers its customers the opportunity to place orders through an online store, although there is no such opportunity in our country yet.
The brand has its own factories in Europe and China. The brand's designers create models from high-quality materials, paying great attention to details. Therefore, suits Suitsupply are not inferior in quality to similar products of famous brands, while they are much cheaper than the latter. Cheaper products are achieved by reducing production costs − the company fundamentally excludes intermediaries from the production chain.
