Increase in the flow of customers in the Afimall City shopping center

According to the statistics of Watcom Group, an expert in the analysis of visitor flows, in March, the shopping center "Afimall City" was visited by more than 3 million people. This is 16% more than the number of visitors in February.

 

Experts attribute this growth both to an increase in the customer flow as a whole, and to an increase in the occupancy rate of the skyscrapers of the Moscow City business district: for example, the Moscow City Property Department recently moved to one of the towers. It is also necessary to take into account that the Expocentre is located nearby, where the exhibition season has started since February. Foreign and nonresident guests and exhibitors try to visit the nearby shopping center.

 

 

On average, 120 thousand people pass through the shopping center «Afimall City» every day. The flagship boutique of the "Moscow Jewelry Factory", "TSUM Discount", the perfume multi-brand store "Golden Apple" and "Lady & Gentleman CITY" still hold the palm in popularity among buyers.

 

"According to Watcom, in March, the Shopping Index (the number of visitors per 1 thousand square meters of retail space) in Moscow shopping centers decreased by 16.75% compared to the same period of 2014. In the shopping center "Afimall City", due to the specifics of the facility, the presence of additional traffic-generating factors, such as "Moscow City" and "Expocentre", the growth of the Shopping Index in March 2018 compared to the same period in 2014 amounted to 73%"raquo;, - says a research partner at Watcom Maria Vakatova.
