Strategic partnership between PickPoint and ADG group

The leading logistics operator of the Russian e-commerce market PickPoint and the developer of Moscow's largest retail project ADG group announce a strategic partnership: the new generation Click&Collect zones will open in a network of 39 district centers in the next two years. PickPoint becomes the official and exclusive representative of the network of 39 district centers for Russian online stores and fully ensures the launch, logistics and operation of the new service Click&Collect, developed jointly with ADG group.

 

 

ADG group reconstructs 39 former Soviet cinemas and creates on their basis a network of district centers focused on regular visits of people living near the objects of a new format of commercial real estate for the Russian market. Thanks to the partnership with a leading logistics operator, the developer ADG group gets the opportunity to expand the range of goods and services offered to the audience by integrating e-commerce players into the project and providing an omnichannel buying experience.

New service Click&Collect is designed specifically for a network of district centers. The purpose of launching the service is to create a positive shopping experience and give 2.5 million Muscovites living within walking distance of the network's facilities a previously inaccessible level of online shopping comfort. Due to the use of new technologies and a personal approach, the functionality of the Click&Collect zone in district centers will be much wider than that of a regular order pick-up point. The service will be used to teach online shopping and promote new products.

As part of a partnership with ADG group, PickPoint opens a new business development direction. The Click&Collect service of the new format, which will be launched in district centers, will give players of the Russian online trading market a new platform for communicating with potential audiences and attracting buyers to online platforms.

 

The first Click&Collect zone of the new format will open in the district center «Angara» near Varshavskaya metro station next spring. The rest – during 2019–2020, as the following objects of the network of district centers are launched ADG group.

 

 

The network of district centers will include 39 facilities located between the TTK and MKAD. Construction work has already begun on 10 sites, construction permits have been obtained for 20 network facilities. In addition to PickPoint, supermarkets «Lenta» and the South Korean cinema chain CJ CGV have already become strategic partners of the project of district centers ADG group.
