To resolve issues with the raw materials supply of the industry, interaction with is organizedMinistry of Agriculture of Russia. Work in this direction has been carried out for several years. Particular importance is attached to the development of the linen complex. There is an opportunity to organize import substitution along all the production chain, there is a great export potential. According to experts, there will be a shortage of flax fiber in the world in the coming years. We must take full advantage of this opportunity and occupy the appropriate niches.

Similar assessments were expressed by Viktor Skerepov, Executive Vice President of the RSPP. He stressed that the very exposition of the Week speaks of the high potential of the Russian textile and light industry. The main question is how to most effectively master this potential.
