Retail Trends 2019
During the round table at the international exhibition MAPIC-2018, the president of ZENDEN Group Andrey Pavlov announced the key trends in the development of the retail market for 2019.
ZENDEN Group – Russian diversified diversified holding of federal scale. The company manages a retail network, modern shopping centers, shoe manufacturing, foreign representative offices and a number of social projects.
In his speech, Andrey Pavlov named among the main trends the development of payment systems that bypass the cash register of retail stores, duty-free online trading, as well as increased control over retailers by tax authorities and other inspection services.
According to him, so far, online commerce is growing at a small pace, but its share will multiply in the next few years. This will be facilitated by the implementation of high-tech projects between leaders in their segments, for example Sberbank and Yandex, VTB and Mail_ru group. "The strength of such companies is that they have the maximum customer bases, understand the needs of their customers well and will be very happy to use this knowledge in their new projects," Mr. Pavlov noted.
The round table was held within the framework of the international exhibition MAPIC-2018 in Cannes. The event was attended by: President of the "Russian Guild of Managers and Developers" Nikolay Kazansky, President of the Russian Council of Shopping Centers Bulat Shakirov, Head of the Department of retail real estate Cushman & Wakefield Oksana Mostyaeva and other representatives of the Russian real estate market.
