Results of the 27th Collection Premiere Moscow exhibition
The CPM exhibition is still the largest platform for meetings of market participants, being also the most exciting event of the fashion business in Eastern Europe. The 27th season was attended by 21,200 representatives of the fashion industry. In the period from August 31 to September 3, 990 brands presented their collections within the framework of the exhibition, traditionally located on the territory of the Expocentre Fairgrounds.
Along with Germany, Italy, France, Spain and Russia, newcomers – brands from India, Colombia and Romania took part in the last exhibition, and the brightest premiere was a fashion show and a collective presentation in the Premium pavilion of designer brands of the pret-a-porter segment from Indonesia.
Wanting to inspire visitors and following the latest trends, this time the CPM created a Handmade in Russia section, which is located in the central part of the Premium pavilion. Thanks to its unusual concept and unique exposition, it was a great success among visitors. The stands were visited by many guests, and business negotiations were constantly conducted.
"I am fascinated to see the impact of the marketing events we organize," comments project director Christian Kash, "because we are developing more and more new marketing approaches for each season. This time we managed to attract a noticeably larger number of professional buyers. Of course, continuity is a recipe for the success of the CPM exhibition.
In Russia and other Eastern European countries, there is still a great demand for fashionable clothes and lifestyle items. Therefore, the decision of the Turkish exhibitors to re-present their collections on the largest CPM platform as part of collective participation after one missed season was expected and dictated by logic. And at the upcoming spring exhibition, Turkey has already reserved twice as much exhibition space as in the autumn season.
Christian Kash comments on this topic as follows: "It is advantageous not to give up positions in the export market of Russia. Even large agencies are re-entering the market with a new portfolio, using the dynamics of our event and its inspiring impulses.
In addition to expanding the geography of participants, CPM has been at the forefront of fashion and beauty trends for several seasons. More than 60 catwalk shows presented the brightest visual images of new collections of brands from Russia, Germany, France, Italy, Indonesia and Armenia.
Four days of the exhibition, as well as business events, presentations and screenings within the framework of the 27th season were attended by a large number of stars, including Tatiana Mikhalkova, Olesya Sudzilovskaya, Evelina Bledans, Konstantin Tszyu and many others.
The next season of Collection Premiere Moscow will be held from February 20 to 23, 2017 on the territory of the central exhibition complex "Expocentre". Russian and international fashion manufacturers will present their collections of the autumn-winter 2017/18 season.
