Representatives of the fashion industry will discuss the development of the industry

Fashion experts, designers, buyers, retail representatives, show organizers can take part in the expanded industry meeting on fashion industry support, which will be held on February 1, 2018 in the "Digital Business Space". The meeting is held by the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of the City of Moscow, the Moscow Innovation Agency with the support of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Within the framework of the event, it is planned to discuss the following topics:

Support for young designers launching new brands;
Scaling of existing entrepreneurial projects in the field of fashion;
Providing the necessary personnel for the fashion industry;
Systematic promotion of the brand of the city «Made in Moscow»;
The influence of the fashion industry on other industries and areas of city life, including lifestyle, urban environment, tourism, sports, etc., their overall synergetic effect on the city's economy, etc.

This is the second such meeting. The first meeting of fashion industry leaders was held on January 18, 2018.It was held in the format of an open dialogue with the executive authorities of Moscow. The participants of the event discussed the development of the industry as a whole, as well as the need to create a fashion cluster, the development of the brand "Made in Moscow", the formation of a solid professional community of experts working in the fashion industry.

According to the head of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship Alexey Fursin, a single network portal can become a platform for uniting such a community, which will present opportunities for designers, suppliers, buyers, stylists, students of specialized universities, tools for concluding contracts, professional communication, etc.
