Overheated sales

Huge discounts on Christmas eve lead to real DDoS attacks on online retailers and bring down their websites. The amount of discounts from foreign retailers in the Christmas week reaches 70%, which leads to an avalanche of the number of people willing to buy clothes, shoes and accessories of fashion brands at a low price. The result is quite predictable. For the second day, the website of the British popular brand of women's and men's clothing Joe Browns has not been working. The site issues a window with apologies, and then stops working altogether. The same situation is observed in several American retailers and designers.

sites can't cope with the influx of buyers

The website of Virgil Abloh and his Off-White brand also disappoints fans, because while the buyer enters the data for the purchase of discounted goods, the payment is canceled because the goods have already been sold out. Sites in Japan and China had similar problems. But so far everything is fine with Russian online stores.
