Following the results of the business mission, organized with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Russian light industry enterprises have reached a preliminary agreement with Italian companies on the supply of textile equipment.And representatives of the Italian side were invited to participate in the Second International Fashion Forum, which will be held in autumn 2018 in St. Petersburg.

The Russian delegation of the business mission to Milan included representatives of 14 leading manufacturing enterprises of the textile and clothing industry of Russia, among which were members of Soyuzlegprom. Domestic manufacturers got acquainted with the full cycle of textile production and printing on fabrics of the Ratti factory, visited one of the most modern textile productions Eurojersey and the innovative enterprise Epson Senter. Also, as part of the business mission, a meeting was held with the largest company and the most famous Italian brand Pal Zileri.

One of the main tasks of the mission was to introduce Russian manufacturers to new technologies in the light industry and to understand whether they can be applied in our country. The second task, of course, was to establish contacts between the enterprises of the textile industry leaders of both countries.
