Half a billion for Ivanovo textiles

The company «Stellini. is launching an investment project in the Ivanovo region to build a new full-cycle production complex for the production of jacquard and knitted fabrics. Thus, the total volume of the company's investments in the region's economy will exceed 500 million rubles.


The symbolic start of the project was given on February 12. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Ivanovo region Lyudmila Dmitrieva.A symbolic pile of a new production complex of the famous Italian holding company Stellini Textile Group was installed. About 20 percent of the products will be exported to Europe. The implementation of projects to expand the production facilities operating in the Ivanovo region by foreign companies testifies to the high demand for products, favorable business conditions in the region. The Government of the Ivanovo Region will provide the necessary support in the implementation of investment projects," said Ms. Dmitrieva.


Half a billion investments in Ivanovo textiles


The company «» is part of the Stellini Textile Group (Italy), engaged in the production of jacquard fabrics since 1947. In 2015, a new production of jacquard and knitted fabrics was opened in the city of Kohma, Ivanovo region, the volume of investments amounted to over 250 million rubles. At the end of 2017, plans were announced to expand production and select a land plot for construction.


As the general director of the company told Anzor Boriev, for the construction of a new full-cycle production complex, a land plot was purchased in the area of Kirpichnaya Street in Kohma. The investor plans to invest another 280 million rubles in the implementation of the project, including 100 million rubles in the purchase of equipment, technologies and know-how. It is assumed that innovative technologies that have no analogues in Russia will be used in the production of jacquard and knitted fabrics. In addition to the 70 jobs created, another 20 jobs will be organized. It is planned to organize internships for students of specialized Ivanovo universities. The project will be implemented in two stages, the first stage of the new production will be introduced in 2020.
