The reception of applications for the National Industry Award in the field of textile and light industry and fashion industry continues "GOLDEN SPINDLE-2018".

The National Industry Award "Golden Spindle" is held annually to evaluate professional achievements in the field of textile and light industry, the formation and development of the fashion industry in Russia. The award is awarded to companies, enterprises and organizations, their managers, Russian businessmen, entrepreneurs, designers, as well as representatives of working professions for the active development of the fashion industry and the entire industry.

Proposals for nomination for the award are accepted from industry unions, administrations of the territories and regions of the Russian Federation, expert and analytical agencies, editorial offices of publications, industry associations and professional associations, organizers of competitions of young designers and exhibition projects. Also, any company or designer can independently submit an application for the award and accompanying documents to the executive directorate.

The XVI National Award Ceremony «GOLDEN SPINDLE-2018» will be held in March 2019 in Moscow as part of the «Russian Textile and Light Industry Week-2019».

In addition to the main nominations, the list of which is approved by the expert council in accordance with the types of economic activities supervised by the Department for the Development of Domestic Trade, Light Industry and Legalization of Turnover of Products of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation, special personal awards are also awarded in the frames of the award:​ «Golden Palm»  for the contribution to the development of textile and light industry in Russia; «Crystal Palm»  for the training of the fashion industry in Russia.

The deadline for accepting applications and documents is December 15, 2018.
