The head of Gloria Jeans makes his debut on the list of dollar billionaires
Vladimir Melnikov, founder and CEO of Gloria Jeans, was included for the first time in the list of dollar billionaires according to Forbes.
Melnikov's fortune is estimated at $1.7 billion.
The success of Gloria Jeans is due to its wide network of stores (more than 700) and affordable prices for clothes. In 2023 alone, the company opened about 130 stores, and in 2024, Gloria Jeans plans to reconstruct 200 stores and open 50-100 stores of the new brand “Ready! Steady! Go!”
The company also plans to expand into international markets.
