On November 1, 2017, the ceremony of laying the second stage of production of one of the largest Russian shoe factories took place in Novorossiysk – GC «Bris-Bosphorus» – and the opening of a new branded store. The factory produces home, beach, casual and rubber shoes, which are sold through a network of its own stores and in the largest retail chains of the country. Today, the company has already managed to significantly displace Chinese and Vietnamese manufacturers, who occupied the largest segment of the market for such shoes.Automation of production and new capacities will increase production volumes by more than 50% from 20 to 30 million pairs per year. With the launch of the second stage, the range of products produced by the factory will cover absolutely all age groups of buyers and will be updated taking into account marketing research and new trends in world fashion.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, and the First Vice-Governor of Krasnodar Krai, Andrey Alekseenko. The president of Bris-Bosphorus Group, Vyacheslav Zykov, demonstrated the equipment of the factory to the guests and told about the features of production.Together with the President of the Bris-Bosphorus Group of Companies, the Minister gave a symbolic start to a new project to create a full-scale import-substituting production of leather shoes by signing a commemorative message in honor of the start of the construction of the Vetanna factory.

"It is planned to build a fully automated modern production and logistics centers here, which will create more than 300 new jobs. I am sure that a customer-oriented approach will allow the company to further increase its share in the all-Russian market, which already reaches 17%.
