From November 3 to 5, 2017, 94 Brazilian and international children's fashion brands presented the latest products and trends for the autumn-winter 2018 season. The number of participating companies exceeded last year's figures by 40% and shows how accurately the concept of the event meets the needs of the market. More than 3,500 trade visitors came to Sao Paulo (which is 9% more than in November 2016) from 4 countries.

«Feedback from participants and specialist visitors about FIT 0/16 of the autumn–winter season indicates that the company Koelnmesse [the organizer of the project] continues to successfully implement its exhibition strategy. Thanks to its global experience and exceptional competence in the children's segment, the company offers Brazil and other Latin American countries an international platform for entering the global children's fashion market," emphasizes Gerald Bose, President and CEO of Koelnmesse GmbH

In addition to business orders, the main attention was paid to the relationship between the latest international trends and promising industry topics. Held in May, FIT 0/16 spring–summer achieved high results due to the parallel holding of a trade fair and Pueri Expo − a Brazilian exhibition dedicated to the child care industry, held under the auspices ofKind + Jugend from Cologne. The success of the double format of the fair impressively demonstrates the growth potential and the increasing demand for national and international products in the Brazilian market of goods for infants and children.

FIT 0/16 celebrated its 50th anniversary by presenting a diverse program of events, which was positively reviewed by both exhibitors and visitors. The most memorable events of the fair were the children's fashion shows, which demonstrated all the current trends of the upcoming season, and the Trend Forum. Preliminary shows of children's fashion in 2019 were also held in the Trend Space Arena Bureaux de Estilo, indicating the key features of the season. The trend panels UseFashion also attracted attention, which presented modern trends in children's fashion. Lectures and seminars by industry experts in the field of fashion and sales were very popular on topics such as the specifics of selling children's products to fathers who are a new customer segment, or consultations on the choice of sales staff. Another significant event was a virtual tour of the model store Sebrae A charitable institution that supports and advises owners and start-up entrepreneurs in Brazil.
