CPM: results of the anniversary season

The 30th anniversary season of the Collection Première Moscow has ended – the key exhibition of the fashion industry of Eastern Europe, held in the Moscow Exhibition Center «Expocentre» since 2003. More than 25,000 specialists from Russia, the countries of the Customs Union and Europe came to the spring Bayer session. 750 brands from 30 countries of the world presented 1,350 collections of clothing, shoes and accessories of the fall-winter 2018/19 season.

 

The special guest of the official opening ceremony of the exhibition was Alyona Akhmadullina, is one of the most recognizable and successful Russian designers, whose name has been on the schedule of international fashion weeks more than once. Her brand Akhmadullina Dreams is preparing to present the next seasonal collection in the section CPM Premium in September this year.

 

The 30th season of CPM pleased the guests not only with the traditionally colorful and diverse program of women's, men's, children's and underwear fashion shows, but also with new sections. The expanded exposition of CPM Accessories & Shoes attracted the attention of many representatives of multi-brand stores of the premium segment. For the first time in the framework of CPM , the pavilion of fur fashion Mosfur, as well as the StartUp Russia section with local small designer clothing brands worked.

 

For the second time, the organizers of the exhibition were able to present a collective stand of the special project CPM My Country, the purpose of which is to help in the development of young designer brands from the regions of Russia. Their collections were presented by LUG Luiza Gasanova, RomaUvarovDesign and Aiza – authors with different stylistic handwriting and price offer, already famous in their native Krasnodar. As part of another special project of the exhibition Designerpool designers showed their new works at the stands and on the main podium of the exhibition Iya Yots, Nadia Orlova and Asya Kogel (Saint Petersburg), Masha Varlamova (Yekaterinburg) and Leon Krayfish (Moscow).

 

 

General Director of the organizing company LLC Messe Duesseldorf Moscow Thomas Stenzel This is how the current stage of the project development characterizes: "As before, the basis of stable cooperation between manufacturers and visitors within the framework of the exhibition CPM is a direct dialogue. Frost beyond the walls of the exhibition halls and the increase in visitors compared to February of last year – that's what the participants of the new season, representing Germany and Russia, Italy and Turkey. In general, the organizers received positive feedback on the results of the event. On February 19, the new Italian Ambassador to Russia held a solemn presentation of awards on the occasion of the anniversary of the cooperation between the CPM exhibition and the Top Buyer program, which has been going on for 15 years. In turn, German companies presented an updated concept of the exposition.

 

"We managed to implement a complete reboot of the CPM Accessories segment, which was transformed into the CPM Accessories& Shoes section," comments the Director of International Projects CPM Christian Kash. It is this block that has a great growth potential, it will become a permanent platform for new exhibitors within the framework of the CPM exhibition in future seasons.

 

 

20th retail technology forum Russian Fashion Retail Forum brought together a wide range of specialists from different segments of the fashion industry, who were presented with current market research on managing changes in the work of retail operators, manufacturers and logistics companies in the Russian market. More than 20 experts took part in open discussions organized by Fashion Consulting Group and PROfashion Consulting. The great attention of the guests of CPM was also traditionally attracted by a public lecture on the trends of the "autumn-winter 2018/19" season from the world leader in forecasting agency WGSN.

 

For the third season, the CPM App mobile application allows you to instantly find any participant of the exhibition and schedule a business meeting, and active Instagram users can get acquainted with news and broadcasts from the CPM screening room without leaving important negotiations.

 

 

The novelties of the season "autumn-winter 2018/19" attracted the attention of a large number of Russian celebrities. Among the first visitors of CPM were: Irina Khakamada, Irina Bezrukova, Larisa Guzeeva, Evgenia Linovich, Ekaterina Odintsova, Svetlana Masterkova, Irina Lachina and many others. Nevertheless, the main guests of the exhibition have always been and remain buyers, many of whom in the jubilee season left positive feedback about the exhibition and opportunities to meet new partners.

 

A lot of guests, including stars, gathered a special evening event of the exhibition CPM and the Japanese professional cosmetics brand LebeLHanami Celebration Fashion & Beauty, dedicated to the cherry blossom period. The guests of the evening were presented with a grand fashion show of 61 model releases with the participation of more than 21 brands, as well as a presentation of key trends in the field of beauty, prepared by the ambassadors of LebeL in collaboration with the leading makeup artists of the Iconface school.

 

The next exhibition CPM will be held from 4 to 7 September 2018 on the territory of the central exhibition complex "Expocentre" in Moscow. Russian and international fashion manufacturers will demonstrate their collections of the spring-summer 2019 season.
