On October 27, as part of the autumn Fashion Week in Moscow, the final of the Design Festival ●RU». By tradition, the final events of the Festival and the awarding of the winners were held on the main podium of the country in the Gostiny Dvor.

The festival is held Kosygin Russian State University with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Association of High Fashion and pret-a-port, as well as the project "Fashion Week in Moscow. Made in Russia".

The competition program of the Festival allows you to identify the most talented young designers and give them the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity within the framework of the largest student event in the field of design at the All-Russian level. More than 300 young Russian and foreign designers take part in the Festival every year. This year, participants from Moscow, Saratov, Novosibirsk, Samara, Shakhty, Tula, as well as representatives from Ukraine presented their competitive collections.

The members of the jury this year were: Rector of the Russian State University named after A.N. Kosygin, Professor Valery Belgorodsky; president of the charity foundation "Russian Silhouette",Tatiana Mikhalkova; fashion analyst, journalist Alexander Khilkevich; Head of the Education Department of the Consulate General of Italy in Moscow, Envoy of the Minister of Education of Italy,Giuseppe Lo Porto; fashion designer Alina Assi. Also, the staff of the judging panel was replenished with young designers.

Among the guests of honor at the festival were: President of the Keune International School,Natalia Antipova; presenter of the TV channel "Muz TV" Konstantin Tarasyuk;Russian actress Evelina Bledans;composer Kai Metov and others.

13 competitive collections were selected to participate in the final stage of the Festival. Collections of young designers that have passed strict selection are already ready for industrial implementation today.

The third place in the competition program of the Festival was taken by the collection «Come in a century…» Author of the collection – graduate of the Institute of Business and Design Elena Sokhatskaya (head –Varvara Andreeva).

The second place went to the collection of "Everyone has their own" Sabina Izyatova (Moscow State University of Technology and Management named after K.G. Razumovsky, head of Ilya Sadalskikh).

The deserved first place was given to the collection by the Cosmodrome of Alexandra Proshina (National Institute of Design, head of Tatiana Vasilyeva).

The winner of the Grand Prix of the competition was Sofia Bugera for her collection "Catch my signal" (Kosygin Russian State University, Head of Elena Sudarushkina).

All participants received commemorative diplomas and gifts from the organizers and partners of the Festival.

Within the framework of the event, a round table was held «Competitions of professional skills – ways of development of light industry and the formation of the Russian fashion industry». As a result of this event, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between Kosygin Russian State University and CJSC Paris Commune in the field of education, science, production and implementation of joint educational programs aimed at meeting the needs of the enterprise in relevant specialists, the introduction of new technologies, scientific developments, projects through the creation of a Student Design Bureau on the basis of the enterprise..
