Selleria technique in the Fendi spring collection
The Italian fashion house Fendi has presented a spring line made in the Sellari technique. The collection has become truly significant for the brand, because in the new capsule, he has managed to reflect his past in the repetitive codes and motifs of the present more than ever.

"On the eve of the centenary of the house of Fendi in 2025, we are exploring our cornerstones, and Selleria occupies one of the most important places among them. She embodies our roots in the leather craft, the importance of handmade craftsmanship reflected in the signature saddle stitching on bags and clothes. In many ways, Selleria demonstrates what we are and who we are," said Silvia Venturini—Fendi, creative Director of accessories and men's clothing at FENDI.

For the first time, the Selleria stitch was used by Adele Fendi, the grandmother of Silvia Venturini-Fendi, the founder of the brand. And now, almost a century later, the technique once inspired by the creations of Roman saddlers is back in the spotlight, but in a reinterpreted version. In the new Fendi collection, the classic wax thread stitch goes beyond bags. It is performed in a more voluminous version and takes on a new abstract metallic shape on shoes and accessories.
