"Russian Seasons" announces a competition for young designers

Russian Russian Seasons IV Festival of Russian Culture in Design with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is looking for new names of fashion designers, interiors and architects.

 

This time the competition will be held in three categories: «Fashion»(men's and women's clothing, shoes and bags), «Interior»(furniture, interior items, decor, tableware, light) and Wooden architecture»;.

 

 

The participants will work together with Russian manufacturers of fabrics, clothing, furniture and other things. The best models will be put into production. According to the terms of the competition, the materials that can be used in the competitive works are cotton, wool, linen, viscose fabrics, lace, leather and wood.

 

Applicants need to send their competition project and portfolio (all in pdf format) to email address and accompany it with a letter with a story about himself and an answer why he wants to take part in the competition and what he expects from him. In the subject of the letter, you must specify the nomination ("Interior", "Fashion" or "Architecture"). The deadline for accepting applications is November 20. Based on the portfolio and letters, 15 best applications will be selected, the authors of which will be contacted by the festival coordinators. According to the results of the interviews, where the contestants will have to defend their creative ideas, young designers will be selected who will be able to implement them together with factories.

 

 

In addition to the competition, the "strong" IV "Russian Seasons" will traditionally host a business program with the participation of foreign journalists and an exhibition of the same name, which, in addition to the joint works of the contestants and manufacturers, will present Russian architectural and interior bureaus, manufacturers, designers.

 

The festival "Russian Seasons" has been held since 2015 with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. It was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Kusnirovich, Natalia Goldenberg, Tatiana Mikhalkova, designers Olga Vilshenko, Andrey Artemov, Vika Gazinskaya, Denis Simachev and others.
