The press service of the Ministry of Industry and Tradeannounced the holding of a joint event with Austrian partners of the Russian business mission to Vienna. The exporters who presented their products to Austrian investors from the light industry segment included Union of Textile Companies and Teikovsky Cotton Mill.

For many decades, Austria has been and remains for Russia one of the main trade and economic partners in Central Europe. Given the friendly and partnership nature of relations between our countries, we need to further strengthen bilateral ties and implement joint projects. At the same time, the basis of cooperation on this track should be joint long-term projects with an increase in the high-tech component.

The mission was organized by The Russian export center, and its main task was to develop trade and economic ties between Russia and Austria. The delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Georgy Kalamanov. He highly appreciated the opportunities for the development of bilateral ties between Austria and Russia and stressed the special importance that the Russian side attaches to cooperation with Austria.
