Luxury Milan Fashion Week

Milan Fashion Week, held in February 2024, has become a real fashion festival, where designers from all over the world presented their most daring and creative creations.

One of the main themes of the season was the game with proportions.Designers experimented with curvy silhouettes, voluminous sleeves and cropped tops, creating images that are both feminine and daring.

Another trend has been the use of rich materials. Dresses made of silk, velvet, taffeta and lace, decorated with embroidery, feathers and precious stones, shone on the catwalks.

There were also experiments with color. In addition to the classic black, white and red, the designers used bright and saturated colors such as fuchsia, emerald and purple.

We believe that without comparison with some autumn-winter 2023/24 collections, this article would not be complete, so we suggest starting with them.

Armani Privé presented the collection "Le temps des roses" for the autumn winter season 2023-2024. She once again demonstrated his unparalleled talent for creating alluring and seductive designs that push the boundaries of traditional fashion. The collection reflects Armani's deep passion for the floral world. The rose, a symbol of love and beauty, has become the centerpiece of this collection, breathing life and sensuality into it.

Lush roses made of patent leather decorate various items of clothing. Their sophisticated design, complemented by graphic black lines and shining gold accents, brings a touch of drama and luxury to the collection.

Giambattista Valli autumn-winter 2023/24 presented a collection full of romance and femininity. She wore puffy dresses, airy skirts and floral prints. The Giambattista Valli collection charms with clear and expressive silhouettes that blend harmoniously with each other. The designer is confident that mastery of cutting techniques is the key to creating exceptional clothing.

The palette of the collection is laconic: saturated black, airy white, pastel pink, Bois de Rose, as well as several accents in the form of a green dress, in the trending color of this season — a shade of avocado, and metallic. Such a limited color scheme emphasizes the purity of the lines and ideas of the designer.

These were the most memorable couture collections from last year, and now we are moving on to the recent February Milan Fashion Week.

Versace autumn-winter 2024. This season, the brand's designer, Donatella Versace, presented an exquisite vision of primitive black dresses and expressive coats.

The show recalled the cult show Atelier Versace 1993, held at The Ritz in Paris. Exquisite white swallow collars that decorated small black dresses and long dresses, as well as bows, became the main accents of the collection. An unexpected solution was the combination of these delicate details with the inner corsets of the dresses, creating a powerful contrast. Other dresses were made in a sexy style typical of Versace. Special attention was drawn to the hooded dress, the side slit of which extended from the hip almost to the waistline. But the most striking outfit of the show was a sand dress with a transparent bodice and sleeves, as well as a neckline inlaid with crystals. The crystals only partially concealed the shoulder pads, creating a provocative and daring image.

Dolce & Gabbana: Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana presented a collection that is inspired by Sicilian culture. It featured lace combinations, furs, feathers, patent leather, dresses embroidered with crystals, cropped jackets and hussar uniforms, as well as head ornaments in the form of a mesh veil.

The collection "Black Sicily" is an elegant narrative about beauty and luxury. The black color, as the basis of the collection, emphasizes the sophistication of lines and the beauty of fabrics. Gold accents and rhinestones add sparkle and glamour.

The collection uses only the most exquisite fabrics: velvet, chiffon, lace and organza. Unique mesh details add mystery to the collection.
