Fashion and Design Center The All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts together with the School of Fashion, Arts and Design present a Saturday lecture hall under the motto Fashion + Art + Subculture.

«Fashion + Art + Subculture» multimedia course of lectures on fashion and styles. The program touches on almost the entire palette of modern culture and counterculture, which affects the fashion industry: art, cinema, musical movements and not only.

The purpose of the program is to tell about fashion and how it originates; to develop artistic thinking and teach to think unconventionally. This is a great "creative shake-up" for those who want to realize themselves as a designer, fashion photographer, stylist, art director, etc. For others, this is a new experience and a great way to tweak the brightness of the surrounding reality a little.

Lectures are part of the author's educational program Chris Kirik and Sasha Plastinkin – founders and leading teachers of The Fashion School.

Lecturers:

• Chris Kirik is the founder and lead teacher of The Fashion School. Designer of clothing and accessories with international experience. Expert of modern fashion, art director, stylist and producer of shoots for glossy publications and fashion advertising, coolhunter, fashion editor;
• Sasha Plastinkin is the founder and leading teacher of The Fashion School. Art director and graphic designer. Fashion-, street- and travel-photographer. Author of articles about fashion, music, art and travel. Sound designer.

The first lecture of the cycle will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2019. Topic: «Recognized classics of the avant-garde of Japanese fashion». It will be about the classics of the Japanese avant-garde and icons of alternative fashion: Issey Miyake, Rei Kawakubo, Yohji Yamamoto. «Hiroshima-chic», «black invasion » and «intellectual adventure » from the masters of design of the Land of the Rising Sun.

Duration of the lecture: 15:00 – 18:00.
