As of now, as a result of inspections conducted by Rospotrebnadzor, fur products totaling 1.48 billion rubles have been withdrawn from illegal circulation, 18% of them were sold without the PPE marking, 82% in violation of the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union on the safety of light industry products. Recall that scheduled inspections on the domestic market of fur products have been taking place since August 28 of this year. In November it was reported about more than 9,000 fur products that do not meet the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor, in the amount of about 900 million rubles.

According to the results of supervision of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs who have committed violations of the established requirements, the department initiated cases of administrative offenses, the goods were arrested. Representatives of the department reported that, taking into account the emerging new technological opportunities and the development of the digital economy, as part of the ongoing monitoring of law enforcement, Rospotrebnadzor has prepared proposals to improve the legislation of the Russian Federation aimed at improving the effectiveness of the measures taken.
