By Resolution No. 862 of July 23, 2018, the Government amended the Rules for Confirming the Production of Industrial Products on the Territory of the Russian Federation, established by Resolution No. 719 of July 17, 2015.

The new edition sets out the following positions: workwear; uniform (departmental) clothing, uniforms; protective and other footwear not included in other groupings (except for children); fire-resistant protective clothing.

In the production of workwear from fabrics in the Russian Federation, the following operations must be performed: fabric weaving; fabric dyeing; fabric finishing; fabric cutting; tailoring.

For assembled shoes in the Russian Federation, there must be casting of soles and parts of shoes using molds; cutting of shoe parts; sewing of blanks; assembly of shoes.

Recall that not so long ago, a restriction was introduced on payment from the FSS for workwear, safety shoes, and other PPE  expenses are reimbursed only if these items are manufactured in the Russian Federation. At the same time, workwear should also be sewn from Russian materials. At the end of last year, it was also established that among the supporting documents in respect of workwear, safety shoes, PPE, it is necessary to submit the conclusion of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the confirmation of the production of industrial products in the territory of the Russian Federation.
