Italian brands in Russia

From August 30 to September 2, Italian companies took part in the Moscow exhibition CPM –Collection Première Moscow. The organizers of the collective exhibition: EMI-Ente Moda Italia, SMI-Sistema Moda Italia together with the Agency of the ICHE of the Embassy of Italy, the Department for the development of trade exchange.


At the exhibition CPM the Italian delegation is traditionally represented by strong participants. This year it was 92 Italian manufacturers: 75 brands of men's and women's clothing, 11 brands of children's clothing and 11 companies producing underwear and beachwear. In total, 127 brands were represented on an area of 7,000 square meters.

 

 

For Italian participants moscow office ICHE agencies implemented a special support program. It included the organization of a business trip of 33 Russian regional entrepreneurs from Angarsk, Barnaul, Belgorod, Vologda, Vyborg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Omsk, Samara, St. Petersburg, Stavropol, Syktyvkar, Chelyabinsk and Khabarovsk.

«We have high hopes for the CPM exhibition this season. Especially considering the data on the growth of Italian imports of clothing and accessories in the period from January to June 2017 by 31.2% compared to the same period last year, which amounted to 511.7 million euros and confirmed Italy's position in second place among the main suppliers of the market. The Russian market is again showing an increase in enthusiasm for Made in Italy products, as well as an increase in the number of trading platforms. That is why it is so important for us to constantly monitor the market and invite the most promising Russian partners to the exhibition CPM, in whose stores the Italian product should be presented.
