II All-Russian fair "Clothes. Footwear. Textiles" in Nizhny Novgorod

From 1 to December 8, 2017 in Nizhny Novgorod will work II All-Russian fair "Clothes. Footwear. Textile. 2017». It was initiated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation with the support of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the administration of Nizhny Novgorod.

 

Adult and children's clothing made of fur and wool, shoes, including dried ones, tapestry products for the home made in line-embroidered technique, bedding, leather goods, openwork down knitting, souvenirs and much more will be presented in Nizhny Novgorod by more than 60 enterprises from 16 cities of Russia.

 

The attention of Nizhny Novgorod residents and guests of the city will be offered author's design collections, products of large and medium-sized enterprises of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Barnaul, Volgograd, Ivanov, Izhevsk, Kostroma, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orenburg, Penza, Stavropol, Syktyvkar, Ufa, Cheboksary, as well as the cities of Leningrad, Lipetsk, Kirov, Moscow, Smolensk and Tver regions, Krasnodar and Perm territories.

 

 

 

 

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Viktor Yevtukhov at a press conference in MIA Russia Today, held on November 24, announced that the First Fair of clothing, footwear and textiles was held at the end of September in;St. Petersburg and showed a good result. The fair in Nizhny Novgorod, starting on December 1, is the second similar fair, where about 60 Russian manufacturers will gather.

 

According to him, The Ministry of Industry and Trade considers fairs and trade festivals as an active and effective sales channel for Russian manufacturers.

 

"This is a unique opportunity to demonstrate both to our citizens and to buyers, industry professionals, the opportunities that exist for Russian enterprises, to show young talented designers," the deputy head of the department noted.

 

 

 

 

He added that another new format of trade, which is being discussed jointly with the regions, is off-site storefronts, where the best collections of Russian designers and designers will be displayed and sold.manufacturers.

 

"I won't name specific sites yet. One of the options that we are currently considering is the organization of such outlets during periods of major international forums. In the world's fashion capitals, such as Milan, Paris, Rome and Berlin, small street shops and clothing fairs successfully coexist with well-known brands. So for foreign guests it will be quite understandable and convenient format»,  concluded Evtukhov.
