Heimtextil Russia celebrates its 20th anniversary

This year the leading Russian exhibition of home and interior textiles Heimtextil Russia celebrates its 20th anniversary. During its existence Heimtextil Russia has gained a reputation as a leading business platform for textile industry professionals in Russia and neighboring countries. It is here that the key players of the international textile market gather annually to find new business partners for the further development of their business.



Heimtextil Russia 2018 will be held on September 18–20 in Moscow, in the IEC «Crocus Expo».


At the moment, about 75% of the exhibition space has already been booked by key exhibitors, both Russian and foreign. The national pavilions of Germany, China, Iran, Pakistan and Turkey have confirmed their participation in the exhibition. It is also worth noting that a significant number of exhibitors are those companies that have already participated in Heimtextil Russia a few years ago. The fact that many companies are returning to the site indicates the recovery of the market after the recent economic crisis.


In Russia, the relevance of textiles for the HoReCa industry has been increasing in recent years, and this can also be seen by the example of an increase in the number of specialized exhibitors. This product group is now especially relevant for Russia, where domestic tourism is developing, and dozens of hotels are being built as part of the upcoming FIFA 2018 World Cup.


For the first time, Heimtextil Russia will host a special exhibition of carpets and carpets CarpetLab, where carpet manufacturers from Iran, Turkey, Pakistan and other countries with a rich history of carpet weaving will present new carpet collections to target buyers and distributors.



Thanks to the expanded business program and special exhibitions, Heimtextil Russia exhibitors will be able to participate in b2b meetings with representatives of large retail chains and the HoReCa industry. Business conferences and discussions on topical industry topics will also be held at the exhibition site.



Throughout the exhibition, professional visitors, including importers, distributors, representatives of large retail chains and the HoReCa industry, as well as designers and decorators, will take part in thematic tours of the exhibition.
