Gallery: looking forward to the new season

Preparations begin for the July exhibition Gallery, which in January-February showed positive dynamics of development in all segments of the fashion industry.

If we compare the attendance of the winter exhibition with the summer season Gallery, which took place in July last year, the number of visitors to the January exhibition remained at the same level - about 6,000 buyers and buyers from the European Community. Attractiveness Gallery The popularity of the international fashion exhibition was confirmed in all sections, but the greatest attention of visitors was attracted by PREMIUM & AGENCIES, which this year was represented by a larger number of participants than last season.

In the spaces Alte Schmiedehallen, Halle am Wasserturm and Kesselhaus expositions were presented by 27 trade agencies, which amounted to 35% more companies than in July. Such agencies as Alpha Studio/Franco Rossi, Altea/Ralf Klüver, Celine Klauser, Die Hinterhofagentur, D-tails, Feldges & Heidt, Gabi Heininger, Modeagentur Schiess, Moderaum Fischer, Pegaso and The Last of the True presented their brand portfolios/Stefan Kudla. Moreover, the practice of presenting the collection in a temporary showroom at the exhibition for nine days (three days of the exhibition and three days before and after its end) is gaining more and more popularity, bringing direct benefits to agencies and increasing the customer base.

The high level of the exhibition is also confirmed by the feedback of the participants, who already confirmed their participation in the next season during the January exhibition. Thanks to the new strong exhibition Gallery SHOES, new exhibits of shoes and bags were also presented at Gallery. Both events draw attention to CPM Moscow, where accessories were also allocated to a special segment. Joint expositions of companies from Hungary and Russia showed interesting collections of brands that produce clothes and shoes, which were in great demand among European buyers.

Gallery TRENDVIEW

For the first time, Gallery presented its own trends section TRENDVIEW, organized in collaboration with trendsetter Karolina Landowski and fashion Director of Igedo Alexander Radermacher. Here, attention was paid to global trends, key trends, silhouettes and proportions, colors and materials in women's and men's clothing of the fall-winter 2018/19 season. The focus is on functional design, high-quality materials and simple colors. The influence of minimalism is noticeable.

Contrasts and juicy colors for blouses and pullovers, jackets, trousers and skirts remain in fashion. Bright colors cover the neon black and royal blue spectrum. Subtle accents in soft brown tones and subtle peach shades combined with bluish-blue. Metallics are relevant in all shades, from mirror silver to rose gold. Experiments with volumes, materials and colors are welcome in outerwear. Comfort is put at the forefront and destroys the boundaries between formal and informal, old and new, combining the latest technologies and traditional craftsmanship. Fashion appeals to personality, blurs gender roles and creates individuality.

The next season of the exhibition Gallery will take place from July 21 to July 23, 2018 and promises to all participants and visitors a lot of interesting and useful things.
