Foresight camp in Ples

From August 22 to 27, one of the smallest and most beautiful cities in Russia, Ples, will turn into a Foresight city. A Foresight Camp will be held here under the patronage of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and with the support of the Government of the Ivanovo Region. Experts with world-renowned names will solve the problems of forming a new NTI market – FashionNet.

 

 

The Foresight camp is a group communication format that has no analogues in the world, during which participants develop roadmaps of sectoral and territorial development and projects in promising areas in the economy.

 

Faberlic, the largest Russian company in the direct sales market, manufacturer of the entire range of skin and hair care products, exclusive French perfumes, decorative cosmetics, household and health products, children's, women's and men's clothing, underwear, accessories and shoes, became the industrial partner of the Foresight Camp in Ples. In 2016, the share of the category «clothing accounted for 19% of the company's total sales, in 2017 this figure is increasing, growth is projected to 26%. In connection with the active development of this direction, Faberlic has already implemented the first of five stages of localization of garment production in the Ivanovo region, whose products are exported to 40 countries in Europe and the CIS. The second production site will be launched next year.

 

In June 2017, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a quadripartite Agreement was signed on the implementation of a unique project for Russia - the construction of the first digital Faberlic clothing factory of the future in the Ivanovo region. This project will be implemented in cooperation with experts and specialists actively involved in creating the economy of the future of our country, including the leaders of Technet, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, the Engineering Center of Textile and Light Industry (Ivanovo). The PLM system has already been launched and a number of strategic sessions have been held in this area.

 

At the strategic session of the Foresight Camp, participants will discuss and launch specific commercial, educational and media projects designed for the global markets of the future. The Ivanovo region is assigned an important role and a worthy place in these markets. The Foresight Camp will help participants from the Ivanovo region to determine the topics of promising business areas and professions, outline steps for the development of the region as one of the main market regions.

 

 

For four busy days, the participants of the Foresight Camp will work in groups on the following topics:

  • the image of the future product in the fashion industry;
  • the future of design and engineering;
  • Fashiontech: the future of materials, technologies and production. Digital factories;
  • the future of brands, trade and logistics, media;
  • the future of education in the fashion industry;
  • the future of the urban environment;
  • the business of the future: from the technological cell to international companies;
  • the importance of creativity in the development of STI markets.

Close attention will be paid to the role of flax in the new market.

 

The selected projects will be thoroughly analyzed. The final assembly of the projects will take place within a few months and a presentation of the projects released from the Foresight Camp will be prepared. The first results will be announced at the XII International Industrial and Economic Forum "Golden Ring", which will be held in Ples from September 14 to 16.

 

The materials of the Foresight Camp will form the basis of the roadmap of the FashionNet market.
