Expansion of Russian brands

The international consulting company Nikoliers conducted a study of the Russian fashion market, as a result of which it presented an online rating of 35 of the most successful, rapidly developing domestic brands.

During the analysis, Nikoliers used a four-criteria evaluation system:

  • change in money turnover from 2022 to 2023; 
  • average brand revenue per store; 
  • the total number of stores in the network; 
  • presence in key shopping malls in Moscow. 

Based on these factors, the top ten most promising brands included Lime, Love Republic, Henderson, Zarina, 12Storeez, Charuel, Sela, Befree, Econika and The Snow Queen.

Brands such as Lime, Zarina, Love Republic, Befree, Econika and Sela got to the top due to active growth due to the significant expansion of store formats, the opening of new outlets and the launch of new lines. The Henderson brand, which adheres to a moderate development strategy, has broken the record for the number of outlets in top metropolitan locations. And the brands "Snow Queen", 12Storeez, and Charuel managed to significantly increase their cash turnover. The largest increase in revenue compared to last year was demonstrated by the teams "Blind Chicken", Mavelty, Cocos Moscow, Charuel and Lime.

Kari shoe and accessories store has become the undisputed leader in the total number of outlets, at the moment the brand's products are represented in 1200 outlets.

Nikoliers partner Anna Alexandrova noted: "We see the successful expansion of Russian brands and an increasing interest in them from customers."
