Dior Haute Couture: Autumn-winter 2024-2025

The show Dior Haute Couture autumn-winter 2024-2025 has become not just a catwalk show, but a real performance.

Maria Grazia Chiuri, creative director of Dior, draws inspiration from the work of Faith Ringgold, a feminist and activist. Ringgold's paintings such as "Freedom Woman Now" and "Woman Free Yourself" adorn the set design, and her Metropolitan works are recreated in honor of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.

The collection is based on the theme of women's empowerment.

The collection is the epitome of femininity in motion. The silhouettes flow smoothly, as if following the dance of the models on the catwalk. Fringes, draperies and pleats transform into T-shirts, dresses and trousers, creating fleeting images inspired by the images of ancient goddesses. One of the dresses is woven from lurex, a thin ribbon wrapped around a viscose base. Sportswear has been reinterpreted in the language of high fashion: the ribs on the T-shirts have been replaced with a delicate grosgrain ribbon, and the jersey is decorated with silk or metallic threads of gold color. Exquisite embroidery all over the body adorns sports shirts and robes, creating a mosaic of a free and strong manifestation of femininity.

Dior Haute Couture autumn-winter 2024-2025 is a hymn to female power, creativity and freedom, woven from the threads of fashion, art and history.
